I have a 29 year old brother. I'm 50. He had a different father than my dad. My mom remarried after my dad to an idiot. I basically raised my younger brother and I acted like his father it's just the way things went at my house. His father did not see him since he was 5 years old. I was the closest he could get. I love him as much as I love any of my own kids which I have four of. I know that he isn't mine cuz my mom is his mother and he's my brother, yet I feel a responsibility for him as that of a parent. I taught him how to pee in the potty. I taught him how to wipe his poopy. I was his dad. I did the things that a mother doesn't feel comfortable doing. I moved away a couple times, I lived on my own. But I always took care of my brother

My little brother is 17 years younger. I was the babysitter for years and after my parents passed away I took custody and became his guardian. I played the role of mom dad and big brother. Totally worth it. Now he's living the dream and has a nice place in Florida with his girlfriend.

I was 14 yrs.Old!! He is now 70 and i am 83. He lives with me. I promised our mother I would always be by his side. I have kept that promise. ❤❤❤❤

That's happening in my house right now. My oldest is 22 and my youngest is 7. It's lots of fun. My oldest brother was 17 years older than me & he was in Vietnam when I was born. I met him a few years later when he came home, it's my first memory. I even have a picture from that day. I'm wearing a little sailor shirt while sitting on my brothers lap while he's in his navy uniform. He passed unexpectedly back in '96. I miss him.
