God bless you. Great testimony. Jesus saved me from the new age movement around mid December of 2022. God allowed my car to break down several times in the same month because he was trying to get my attention so I could stop going down the wide path of destruction. I would've said I believed in God, but I used to not believe in Jesus. And I had the self righteous spirit on me causing me to be prideful. God woke me up and told me stop trying to do everything myself. God then used people on YouTube to lead me to Jesus, my Lord and savior. Then I broke the egyptian statue I had on the center of my dresser and replaced it with The Holy Bible, making God the foundation of my life. My life has never been the same since. Every day I get rid of some new age crap I used to believe. The thing about the new age movement is that Satan uses it to mix truth with lies to decieve people into thinking that they are gods. There is only one way to the Father and that is Jesus Christ.

I’ve never seen you before but God led me here. I begin to listen to your video and I kept having the Holy Spirit show me this clean pure refreshing water. He is washing over you and making you Brand new! I feel like I have heard other ppl say that they got into new age and they felt proud and prideful like they had all the answers to the stuff others didn’t know but then I hear people come to Jesus and then they get FREEDOM. His truth sets us free and I pray he continues to led you and guide you as you become his vessel of truth and freedom for others to see his light shinning forth from you. He is washing you with his word and truth and making you become his radiant bride. I seen that the Greek word for truth is reality. Jesus is the way, the truth and the light. He IS reality! I was into the new age spirituality deep. Around the time my girlfriend got pregnant. The entirety of her pregnancy and first 3 months of my child’s life I made things about me and my comfortability. If it interfered with my meditations or my so called peace I would avoid it and just not be there for my girlfriend and daughter first 3 months of her life. We would argue and my patience was low when it came to caring for my daughter. My best friend who is Christian kept pushing me to come to a bible study with him. I decided to go one day and I was met with amazing individuals who really cared about me being better for my daughter and girlfriend. I bought a Bible and started reading the book of Mark and John. Throughout the process my heart softened and I put my girlfriend and daughter first before myself. I cried and repented and thanked God for opening my eyes and heart. My impatience with my daughter turned into grace and love and also for my girlfriend. I threw away all my self help / new age books and objects and just focused on Christ. God put it in my heart to apply to better paying jobs and now work in the IT industry as well. God turned my life around. Thank you for sharing your story on YouTube it’s very beautiful. Ashley, your testimony is very inspiring. Clearly, the Holy Spirit is speaking to you and guiding you in your new life in Christ. Why do we seek?

Is there any reason to seek a better future
if we're fully comfortable and content
with the way our body feels now?

When thoughts slow down,
you may notice that there is discomfort in the body,
which may show up in a myriad of ways:
pain, anxiety, anger, or any other sensation or emotion...

This is part of the reason that we get addicted to thought—
because it’s an immediately available way
to avoid or try to fix
the way our bodies feel.

We won't be able to rest in presence for very long
if we keep ignoring or avoiding discomfort.
Rather, we'll continue to follow thoughts about past and future...
We'll keep trying to escape...

So, how do we bring direct attention to the energies of our body?

The first step is to acknowledge that you are feeling something.
We tend to acknowledge emotions and sensations first through the mind...
We might think, "I’m angry, " or "I’m afraid of what might happen, "
or we may simply notice that something is bothering us...

But we can't feel emotions or sensations through thinking.

These thoughts are narratives or labels for how we feel.

They are not the actual energies themselves.

For example, if you have the thought "I have a stomachache, "
that thought is a label for something that is actually happening in your body...

In order to actually feel or experience the stomachache directly,
you would have to bring attention down into the stomach area
and feel it without thoughts on it...

The same is true for all emotions and sensations.

Once you acknowledge that you feel something
or have been triggered by someone or some event,
bring attention very gently to the body
where you feel the actual emotion or sensation...
With your attention there, feel into the sensation or emotion,
and see if you can notice the peripheral space around it at the same time.

Let the emotion or sensation just hang there in that open space,
without trying to change, neutralize, or get rid of it.

It is common to want to change, neutralize, or get rid of bodily energies.
Just notice any tendency to want to do these things.
This is resistance at work,
and trying to stop that resistance from happening
is simply adding more resistance.

Bear in mind that we give power to words, pictures, and bodily energies
by turning awareness away from them.
And we diminish their power by turning toward them
and remaining aware of them until they fade naturally.

That one simple understanding,
if turned into a daily practice,
is highly transformative.
