Your shoes are literally the foundation of your ensemble. Oftentimes listed in the Top Three things a woman first notices about a man she has just met, you can't afford to leave a wrong impression with some lackluster shoes that leave people asking, "WHAT ARE THOSE!"

In this video I present FIVE shoes that you need to have as part of your post-pandemic wardrobe (actually a BONUS sixth shoe type is given at the end)--including basic terms and recommendations for wear.

You're right. Classy women (and men too) notice our shoes. Women I know always comment on my shoes. I also think in terms of functionality. Whether we own a certain pair of shoes should come from cost per wear. Do we really need a pair of whatever that can't be worn with multiple levels of formality? I always wear my Ferragamo patent shoes for opera and symphony. Since I go often, it's worth it for me to keep a pair or two. One other trick of taking out the stink of the shoes esp after they accidentally get soaked is to stick paper, preferably newspaper, into the shoes, and that paper would absorb the stench. After everything dries up, then I stick the shoe trees in.

You gotta have Oxfords when you suit up. Me personally I don't wear Derby or Loafers just my preference. I absolutely love boots though. I've never been into Chukka but a solid Lace Up leather or suede is my go to in the colder months. And I still rock Chelsea regardless if they are in or out. The slip on comfort and light weight make them perfect for daily wear. You nailed it with white sneakers. You should stress for leather though. They will last longer than canvas and easier to clean. 👍

Nice video, but I would add another shoe.
.. a work shoe/boot, that you don't mind getting grimy and scuffed up. You need it for yard work, in the garage, or whatever, so that you don't damage your good shoes.
