What the officer did was heroic, the officer who was shot, while in all that pain and still kept it together and tell where he was shot and help the officer drag him to safety. That was really impressive.

What some might not know is there was no ambulance coming. It was up to the officers to get him out of there. Because the scene was not secure, the shooters were still on the loose, EMS would not go in and get him.

He was so quick to focus and prioritize and maintained amazing composure. I hope he receives the recognition he deserves.
And I hope the officer that almost died makes a full recovery.

As a father of an officer that was injured and disabled( retired) now, my heart breaks when I see hero’s getting injured, (bring tears to my eyes) my thoughts and prayers go out to the officer that was shot, and hope for a speedy recovery. Please see that the officer get the mental health services to help him recover., That will be very important as he recovers form his injuries. High quality mental health services is a must, in which most PD lack.

I am glad officer Haley is recovering and I appreciate the release of the bodycam footage. No idea why that house would start firing but it definitely looked like an ambush. My only question is why wasn't he wearing a bulletproof vest. I would have thought that would be standard procedure.
Officer Ballato was a true professional and they both deserve medals.
If they haven't been charged are they in jail? So this video was nice but it brings up so many questions.

To be under fire having bullets pinging and panging all around you and yet still he pulled his partner with 1 hand at least a block with his gun up in his other hand ready to shoot. I tell you what that training kicked in. WOW Dude really stayed calm, got the important info out as he puts chest seals on his brother and as new units arrive has the focus and concern to warn them to watch their backs and let them know what the house the shots came from!! Our judicial system down right makes me sick to my stomach! If you’ve been arrested more than 20 times, not 1 not 2 not 10 but 20 times ‼️‼️what the hell is our judicial system thinking of letting them out on the streets for the very same result to continue to happen? It’s time that we hold these judges accountable‼️they need to be charged with the same crimes that these criminals are let out on to put them back on the streets to be deadly.
