welcome to toronto. you will figure out transit and stops soon enough. im sure you will love it here. im new to the channel. but few things in toronto to check out that are local is kensington market is a great hip area. and chinatown along spadina from queen to college. also the eaton center is pretty good it has quite a few good stores. dont forget to check out canadas wonderland. 2019 there will be a new rollercoaster there. there are some great beaches one being woodbine beach just make sure the green flag is up for water quality.

Where to obtain work?
I have never been unemployed before, and been working my butt off to get
Seems Toronto doesn’t have jobs ?

The jobs that require a degree want full time work for free...I wish I was kidding, but so many announce that I need to dedicate myself to their career and not take any other employment, work full time and extra, but no pay.

Ok.... so put pride aside and work hard elsewhere to climb the ladder and be a good citizen to not be homeless...but...
then Even stores like McDonald’s say nothing lol.

I am multilingual, and so many employers and employees say no because I don’t look like or because they guess my “race” incorrectly

Not my looks..as they say positive things... but my “race”

I had a couple employers call me in and want to hire me based on experience and the references they spoke to (past employers spoke on how I worked, etc)... then when I came in, if I do not look like their culture...
They suddenly change their mind.


I am sending resumes and applying online to sights and direct companies... and even traveling for hours to come apply again in person

Is Toronto not safe?
