Remember everyone! Recasting Emilie's skill restarts the Scent stacks which temporarily lowers your damage output. That's why having some ER is good for her, since her Burst recast allows you to reposition the turret while still keeping the damage.

I pulled her out an hour ago and omg I'm so happy!! It's not a bad design, it's actually cute :3
I'm Russian and the Russian community hates her for her design as well as her skills. Design is a matter of taste, but you get the idea about the skills. Emilia's elemental skill is like Lisa's elemental burst. And the elemental burst is like Gan Yu... It's a shame that the developers glued her gameplay together from other characters. It's a shame for the character herself :(

If there’s one thing I may say, don’t press the skill button right after her burst, it will reset the lumidouce case’s state, this will shorten the duration of its enhanced form, other than that, she’s amazing

A lot people don’t like her green design but I’m glad someone at Hoyo threw her old design in the trash.

With Emilie you really only want to use her skill when the lumidouce case disappears and your burst isn't ready since using the skill again resets the level of the case back to 1. That said, someone else heard the Sephiroth theme?
