I imagine there has to be a healthy amount of fear in this sport. Even if you're the best fighter in the sport, you're still stepping into the ring or octagon with a guy who wants to beat your ass for money. And he's probably a little bit scared because you wanna do the same thing to him.

Maybe excited has a different meaning to GSP but he definetely feels the rush of adrenaline that comes from being in the zone. In my opinion, he is against fighting as a concept but that does not take away the jittery feeling he gets when he steps into a cage. No successful fighter can even manage their stress and continue fighting without loving it a little. Additionally, you are not Floyd Moneymaker, you fougt with top guys for pride, not for the money. That is why we respect you a lot!
