Queens neighborhood on edge after deadly shooting

Residents of a Queens neighborhood are very concerned after an early morning shooting Tuesday.

Literally the same thing happened in the Bronx the night before with an execution style mugging at 3 a.m. in the morning against an innocent delivery driver by a mugger in a hoddie who got away on a bike and only PIX11 has reported this so far!
I didn't think any of it but now that this bled into Queens, I'm on f*cking edge now!
Thankfully, I'm home by 8 p.m. at the latest and only wake up at 5 a.m.!
This is peak summer craziness so be careful everyone!

I have lived in the Morris Park section of the Bronx for 32 years and I grew up in Inwood. I saw it happen as a kid, I see it happening as an adult.

The primary function for our government and officials is to "Serve and Protect". We are currently getting neither. Regardless of what we think, we need to rethink the actions of our government. This idea of "criminal rights" has taken priority over innocent civilians. Maybe we need to hold DAs, Judges, and elected officials criminally responsible for their failures.

Something weird about this story if it was a mugging why would the person run up and just shoot and take a phone there’s a gap in the part where the person runs up 🤷🏽‍♂️
