Log is a color profile, not a file type. A more apt comparison would be Pro-Res.

I feel like this is misleading because you can have log encoded raw

"Log" is not a type of file and RAW files can also be recorded logarithmically. The difference you're talking about is simply RAW video vs compressed debayered video.

Log is not a container or codec (which raw is) so i’m not sure if it makes sense to compare

Horrible post. Very misleading. You are explaining the difference between GOP and Intra codecs at the start (what you call “individual pictures” vs a video “clip”) and then attempting to say that’s the difference between raw and 😂

Like it’s funny but it’s sad bc there is so much misinformation online about camera stuff
