Today's video outlines the comic history and origins of Pat Mulligan, the man who would go on to become the offspring of Carnage, Toxin. Toxin, unlike Carnage ends up as a hero who works alongside the New Avengers and Spider-Man.

To all who don't know. The offspring symbiot is ALOT stronger then the parent symbiot wich is why carnage is stronger then Venom and why Canrnage wanted to kill Toxin because he knew it would be stronger then him

3:45 Toxin‘s name makes more sense now that I know Venom is the one who came up with it. Based on Detective Mulligan’s final scene in Let There Be Carnage, it seems likely that Toxin will appear in the sequel.

I like how they all just have basic spider powers. Like Peter's one run in with a single symbiot just created his own spider lineage.

the line I see monsters every has a subtle double meaning the crazies in ravencroft saying I see monsters shriek attacks mulligan in the eye. I think he might have gained something similar a weird spirit or illness that was contained.though it's likely it is a carnage piece.
