I've noticed that my front brakes have a lot more play before they finally engage out of nowhere. Could this have to do with my constantly removing the front wheel for transportation?

Will doing this on a daily basis for transport in a car cause measurable wear on the bold threads or other parts making it worth buying a proper rack to keep the tire on, or is it perfectly reasonable to remove the front tire often for easy transport?

Hi I’m new to biking, my bike is brake pads at the rim of the wheel and not disc brakes. Will removing the Front wheel effect the brake pad position?

Ya say most bikes but what about the rest. Nobody says anything about non thru axle or QR. there are budget friendly bikes with the possibility of installing a new better fork. My budget friendly bike has the same looking front wheel I’ve seen for the past 40 years. I’m looking for a fork but all say QR, I’m not even looking at 500 $ forks so not worried about deciding between thru axle and GD QR. Shit
Easy question if I buy a fork stated as QR will I not have any problems putting my “standard” wheel axle (the ones with the safety washer behind the nutz) onto my glorious new fork that won’t make my cheap ass mtb bike suddenly be a trek. Shit

Interesting that the higher quality shocks don't usually have quick release. Guessing tight enough is untill snug?

I managed to crossthread my pedals they are on for now but no idea how long for is thier anything i can do other than replacing the crank arm
