Hey Daniel, you are doing it in a continous hollow body position similar to a plank. I personally prefer locking your shoulders a bit more and crunching instead of a static position for your abs.
Your opinion on that?

I did these wrong for years before realizing they were doing almost nothing for me. I definitely second his point on slower reps. They really hit the core hard by increasing that time under tension.

I'd also recommend breathing as normally as possible during these. I've seen a lot of people hold their breath and that seems really uncomfortable.

I was thinking of slowing down my reps.. my abs are on fire on my last set of 3x10. Mechanimal has a great tutorial on rollouts.

If you really suck on this exercise like I did, you should try the easier alternative with a pilates ball.
The principles are the same. Keep the tips from the video and eventually you will move on to the ab wheel.

Ab rollouts hurt my shoulders like a mf. I think it's the pronated grip... if only there were ab wheels with neutral handles!

if your spine stays neutral the abs are only working isometrically 😐 if you're going to give advices please get smart about it
