Sewing Machine Reverse Button

When a sewing machine gets stuck in reverse it is normally from being dirty and having a heavy build up and not being properly maintained.
regardless what brand Brother, Singer, Janome, Kenmore, White, Viking or Bernina the results are all the same when a machine is not properly cared for. Parts start locking up and the machine begins to not work properly.

Brilliant, thank for the video. I had this issue with a simpler machine brought to me at the local Repair Cafe I volunteer at. Cleaning and lubricating the mechanism got it working.
