Allah answers this question in the Quran directly he says we were only created to worship him. Brother in the video didn’t answer the question properly.

Imam ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that one of the wisdoms behind creating human beings was the manifestation of some of His attributes that otherwise wouldn't have been manifested, like forgiveness. However, we can never exactly know for sure the Hikmah behind Allah's decision. This very question was also asked by angels themselves. Allah didn't tried to rationalize his decision or explain to the angels the wisdom behind the creation of our being. He simply replied, "Indeed, I know that which you know not."

We need to submit to His will and wisdom, and make sure that we do what we are required to.

Sad & suffering since they were still a kid... and they are looking around & see many people are suffering too. God created mankind so that He could enter into creation and make creation fully alive with Himself. God created man to be the link between Him and creation. So by deification of the human, by God becoming man in order that man can become God, He filled up creation with Himself. Seems to me a beautiful picture.
