This makes perfect sense and the answer by Dr. Naik was very good, although I think it wasn't towards the question that was asked. The question was the reason of the creation rather than the purpose of the creation, and there's a difference. When ask about what is our purpose, the answer given by Dr. Naik clarifies it perfectly and is a very satisfactory answer. When you ask about why did God decide to create us, that is beyond our perception and knowledge and we can only answer it with God knows best.

The answer to this question is not a requirement for anyone to believe in God, because in order to believe, we need proof followed by logic and reason, and Islam grants the answers to all of those question because God has willed to grant us the favor of certainty in His existence. There's no doubt or question that can be unanswered when it comes to the existence of God. We might want to know why we are created, but we cannot demand to know or require to know that answer, because it won't affect the fact of God's existence any less true.

I believe Dr. Naik knows that the answer to the reason of why we were created is simply "God knows best!", but the words reason and purpose can sometimes be confusing to have the same meaning.

Let me get this straight.

God has everything.
God is everything.
God is everywhere.
God is all powerful.
God is all forgiving.
God is all knowing.
God is perfect.

God already had everything and theres literally nothing we can provide him because he is already perfect.

So, if he is already in a perfect and content state, why create problems (humans), that he later has to deal with when never had to deal with to begin with?

My second question is that humans have the free will to choose good or bad, Why has Allah created 'bad' along with the good ones and why have we given free will? My third question is why didn't he create only jannah why both jannah and jahanam.
