Win or Lose keeps getting better #pixar #winorlose #opinion

I didn't get to say it in the video, but I love how it gives both the mom and the daughter reasons for you to agree and disagree with them. The daughter turns to the dark side of money-making, and the mom uses social media as a crutch. Neither one is perfect, neither one does things exactly how you think they should, but Win or Lose does a fantastic job of showing you WHY they did the things they did. Just my thoughts though :)

What I found kinda funny is how Win Or Lose portrayed how the internet can find a missing kid faster than the police. Like it’ll take ‘em maybe even a year, but give it to 4Chan and they’ll take a few days

One detail i actually really love too is the reason the daughter parentifies herself is because she sees her mom as reckless and unserious but the mom puts on a happy/nothings wrong front in front of her daughter so she WONT have to worry about adult things. Shes trying her best to not place that burden on her kid and inadvertently doing exactly that by over-compensating

i especially really liked how they showed that the mom wanted to be an influencer so that she felt validated and cared about since she’s seemingly in a position where she lacks support systems. It could’ve been really easy for Pixar to just make her an influencer to try to be “relevant” and it ultimately looking out-of-touch and distasteful, but they did a great job at making her character relatable and artistically realistic.

As a kid who grew up too fast myself, I'm really glad they actually have tried to show it. Not entirely sure what the "moral of the story" they're going to try to go for is but I'm glad the concept is actually getting representation.

i was turned off by the show because of Disney stripping a Trans character, but the creators must have TRIED, and I can respect that

Yeah I love these two episodes it shows how sometimes there's no bad guy in the situation sometimes it's a simple thing that people don't do and when they don't do that simple thing that makes everything fall apart and that thing is called communication.

It's just a shame that they decided to cut the trans aspect out of the story, seeing glimpses of how the show handles other issues it could've been something that would've really reached people going through that kind of self-reflection about their identity. But I guess corporates gotta corporate.

Ngl after checking out Win Or Lose, I adore it! I’ve always been interested in how different people’s lives are compared to mine and what challenges they face everyday, and this show is just- AH MY GOSH- 👌 Exactly what I wanted to see! Especially the visuals each character has of themselves, I loooove seeing that!
