The whole stickers saga is so well written. It shows how Jimmy’s approach to any situation is to cut corners, even for a minuscule thing like parking validation. It would take less time to just get the stickers right every time, but he’s compelled to do it. It’s in his nature to try shortcuts.

What's great about this lighthearted montage is it's perfect character exposition - Jimmy is more about the "spirit of the law, " where people should be cut a break if the circumstances determines it. Mike (and Jimmy's brother Chuck as well) is more about the "rule of the law" - no stickers, no validation (i.e. no "half measures").
