It's actually hilarious how everyone casually ignores that Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor, murdered the Tyrells and dozens of innocent people not so long ago, but no one mentions it and they side with her like nothing. I guess the writers kind forgot about it too lmao

"What your sister did to Lady Olenna's son, and the children..." Lord Tarly's otherwise firm voice slightly breaks "I've known the Tyrell siblings since they were babes. My son grew up playing with them."

Jaime thinks back to when he was in that same throne room many years back, when the Mad King committed a similar unspeakable crime against House Stark. He lowers his eyes.

"You are twins, but you are not your sister, ser Jaime." Lord Tarly mutters "we need to end this madness". He turns, and leaves.

I wish that Randyll would’ve said to Jaime “I swore an oath to the Baratheon crown, not the Lannister crown. Joffrey was a Baratheon, correct? Or is there truth in the rumors?” Because that’s exactly right. Joffrey was supposed to be a Baratheon, but Cersei made it so obvious that he was Lannister.

Everything that Cersei and Jamie say about Olenna and Daenerys could be thrown at their faces. How many innocent men and women did Cersei kill when she blew up the Sept. She did it without remorse and with a smile on her face. The lannisters swore oaths to many kings and how many of them did they betray. What did Cersei do when Joffrey was killed. She did everything in her power to have his supposed killer destroyed. When Margery Tyrell became the closest woman to her son she gave unmatched power to a group of fanatics who swear loyalty to the Gods only. She is the daughter of one of the most powerful and intelligent men in Westoros but what has she done to follow in her father's footsteps. Nothing that has succeeded. Would you rather be known as the idiot daughter of a genius or the great liberator of the enslaved and betrayed who is the daughter of kings

He may have fought for the wrong side and he may have not have been the world's greatest father. This is probably the only time he's ever shown any honor and respect. Like he rather fight his enemies on the battlefield instead of stabbing them in the back.

The actor who played Randyll Tarly would have made a more accurate Tywin than even Charles Dance (compared to the books, but I still like Dance better, the alteration was made for the better)
