I am from India, and believe me majority of the Indians are like this Jain brother.
People call themselves whatever they want when it comes to religion but do whatever pleases them, irrespective of what the books/religion teach. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Edit:- this doesn't just apply to Hindus particularly, it applies to people from all religions, including Muslims. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Mahavir came about 1200 years before prophet Muhammad, not at the same time

This guy have 0 knowledge about Jainism and Mahavir is the 24th Tirthankar so Jainism was founded by our first Tirthankar Rishabhdev. He is a non follower. Jainism practices are different. Jainism is written in prakrit language and not in sanskrit. Yes we dont believe in God. We believe in Jiv means Jiv means living being. Every living being on earth even micro organisms included we believe should not be hurted, Jainism is based on different pillars. People are commenting that we consider ourself superior and others lower class no its not right. Also we do other beliefs Anekantwada. It states that the ultimate truth and reality is complex and has multiple aspects. According to Jainism, no single, specific statement can describe the nature of existence and the absolute truth. May be he never studied the sutra, pratikraman, never heard about Atichar, Kalpasutra, Barsasutra which gives deep knowledge about Jainism.
