Orange Crush Mini Review & Demo

Today, we are taking a look at the incredibly affordable and incredibly small Orange Crush Mini guitar amp. I'm a pretty big Orange fan, yet I have never really owned one. You know what they say though...start small. Although by starting small, you might sacrifice things like quality and sound...or do you? Do big things come in small packages? Is the Orange Crush Mini amp one of the best in its price range and competitive market?

Hey everybody and welcome back to my pink room of doom, as always, I hope you're doing well today! I have this little amp and the Boss Katana Mini and the Blackstar Fly 3. I like them all and there are features about each one that set them apart from the others. I really like the gain on this little amp. It just screams and roars for it's size. Plus like you said it's cheap! Last fall I went on a working vacation out of town and took the Fly 3 with me along with a Squire Bullet Strat to play where I was staying. Worked great and I think that's where these small battery powered amps shine.

I actually think it sounded better without the cabinet lol. Gritty as it should. I'm weird I know.

Does it sound decent if you use it with headphones? Is it just the speaker that's terrible?

Plugged this into a karaoke machine and that shit was fun.

I’ve been using it a lot for busking lately, and using the money to buy a proper amp lol.

At one point I added strap pegs onto it so I could wear it around as an amp purse. That was fun

You have to remember the price aswell, it’s £40 you can’t expect it to sound great and it’s still great to practice with and to carry around
