I won't be going into theories, you guys are doing it really wonderful here. What I want to notice is that together with all this theories and speculations you guys create some sort of a history. A history that only people living and watching One Piece right now, waiting for its final and thinking what other surprises Oda has prepared could experience. It's a precious time for every One Piece fan. People who'd start watching One Piece after it's finally finished won't have opportunity to experience such time. If I might use an analogy - what you experience here while trying to solve Oda's mysteries and histories which are going to be yet unfolded, is like you are living in the void era, an era which only you can experience, other people will only have a chance to read/find about it later, but won't be able to experience it themselves (or at least at the same level like you), just like Roger who couldn't live in Joyboy's era. Listening to your theories let me into this special time and it's really enjoyable experience, so thank you very much for everything guys.

I just realized another parallel that we might’ve missed. If luffy’s dream is to have a giant party with the whole world, and in order for that to happen he has to get rid of the red line to unite the world, we’ve already seen this idea before at the end of the Punk Hazard arc. The marines literally draw a line on the ground in order to separate the two groups. However, luffy just goes right on through it, and eventually, both sides that were separated end up having a big party.

I found something while reading the manga that reminded me of these videos. On the fourth page of chapter 968, the neptunians are saying "The birthing is at hand!! Our sovereign will soon be born... And another, in a distant sea... The whales are delighted in anticipation... Of the day the two sovereigns shall meet again." Just wanted to point this out

Also I think it’s cool how Luffy wanted 10 people for his crew. And the long ring long land island has 10 points. Maybe they all need to be on one point each to activate something.

I mentioned this in the discord, but i think the foxy fight shows exactly how luffy is going to defeat imu. If imu does have an ability to control light then luffy might just be one of imu's natural enemies because of the fact that he's rubber. Luffy's already shown paramecia and zoan traits so he'd start showing logia traits eventually if he follows this patterrn, but to do that he'd have to heat himself up to the point he'd start melting. If luffy can get himself hot enough then he'd be able to use his powers like katakuri does with his mochi. The key difference here would be that heating up rubber would change it's properties completely. Rubber is made from a latex sap that comes out of rubber trees and is then processed, so in it's original state rubber is basically a tangible oil. Oil sits on top of water and reflects all light on the color spectrum which is why it looks like a rainbow when you try to look directly at it. If luffy could reach this level, he'd be able to repel water as well as reflect light.

Interestingly enough if Davy back fight does refer to the fight being in the back of the whale and long ring long land is the crown of Davy, then the Davy back fight with foxy was also technically on Davy's back.

In chapter 104 Luffy also ripped the mast off the Going Merry and put it on top of Laboon basically turning him into a ship.

The fact that not only Gaimon has an afro he is also stuck in a treasure chest hinting that the Afro is the great treasure the One Piece.

I like the idea of the davy back fight being on the back of davy. If it were true then that would most likely become the final battle ground for the laugh tale arc. The idea of seeing all the great powers in the world duke it out whilst atop a gigantic whale seems a perfect fit for the wacky world of one piece.

I love the lil afro man in a chest. Literal symbolism of an afro being the content of the treasure chest. Afro=great treasure. Not to mention the Afro was worn by a lot of the black panther members a symbol of power and they were in direct opposition to the then power of the land often using force tactics.

Thank you for both making the initial video and this update! Perfectly timed with me getting completely back into One Piece for the final voyage!

As I am on complete board with this theory, I'd like to raise two points, a speculation and a prediction:

Speculation: I think Davey Jones' devil fruit is something like the fruit-fruit fruit, the fruit in which all the other devil fruit comes from or something all those lines. As the devil himself cursed Davey to not only be on the bottom of the sea floor, but also to bring others downs with him. The reason being that the biggest caveat of eating a devil fruit is that you're an anchor and sink to the sea, and is Davey jones not known for gathering all the treasure on the sea floor? Plus, I think this would be a neat way of explaining why none of the big names of the pirate world found Davey in over 800 years, they've all eaten devil fruits so are motivated to not drown and not swim. Maybe even the discrimination of the fishmen plays into this as a strategic aspect, keeping them in fishman island keeps them contained when if they went to Long-Ring Island they would figure it out.

My prediction: I think that there will be a Davey Jones fight but I don't think it will be between Luffy and Imu, but rather Luffy and Blackbeard. In which Luffy gets the One Piece the afro BUT Blackbeard uses his darkness fruit to make his hair look like the afro, which makes Davey confused as to who the real joyboy is. The Davey back fight takes place on davey's back on long ring as the black-beard pirates rock up after the straw-hats to confront them. Not only is it a fight for Davey, but to maintain the crew-mates.

I think you could probably add in Yuderon's whale theories but nonetheless you capture the point of it here- the mentioning of laugh tale is preceded with a whale, and I think the crown on brook really sealed the imagery considering his connection to Laboon. Also the image you showed of chopper and the flag- "This skull here laughs at the impossible", makes me think the reason why the one piece is so funny is because it points to the dream of Luffy that is "impossible" as Usopp said recently yet we all know Luffy will accomplish.

Fun fact their is a mythical type of whale called a devil whale. Which is said to be able to swallow ships whole with one gulp, and resembles an island while sleeping.

There's a scene when Laffy gets out of impel down where Ivankov is on top of a whale shark and Luffy says "awesome!!!" I think that's where he gets the idea to put his prized afro on a whale

What about the definition of the term “Davy Jones locker”: Davy Jones's locker is a metaphor for the oceanic abyss, the final resting place of drowned sailors and travellers. It is a euphemism for drowning or shipwrecks in which the sailors' and ships' remains are consigned to the depths of the ocean (to be sent to Davy Jones' Locker).
