Russia Ukraine War (Explained Through Maps)

Hello Nerds! Welcome back to my channel!

One of the most intense crisis in modern times is taking place right now in Ukraine. The Russia-Ukraine conflict (Russia-Ukraine War) which has been ongoing since 2014, has recently shown signs of escalation. Russia has officially invaded and attacked Ukraine, marking it the first time that country has invaded a European country since World War 2.

Russia is reportedly amassing troops in large numbers along the Ukrainian border, and this has led to significant tensions around the world. In Crimea and the Donbas regions, where there is a large Pro-Russian sentiment, tensions are high. As of February 17th, 2022, Russia had claimed that they withdrew troops from the border, but NATO refuses to believe this!

In this video, I try to explain the Russia-Ukraine war through various interesting maps.

What about the geography reasons for the conflict, among other reasons. There used to be a river that supplied water to Crimea, Ukraine blocked it after Crimea was annexed. Russia is having trouble getting enough water there and wants the river to go back to normal.
