Willbreaker should’ve been an exotic given it’s lore importance.

Love how tight the story was between the siblings, they really delivered and handled the Echo of Navigation well!

Goodbye Oryx, you were the most worthy of foes.

Savathun talking like we didn't kick her ass before we even had strand, let alone prismatic.

I would have liked to see what would have happened if Oryx did go back to fundament like he wanted.

I see a lot of people upset that the Echo of Oryx wasn't able to be kept. But listening to his dialogue, I think it was for the best. By the end of Heresy, "Oryx" was broken. He saw the fallacy of his own logic, how far his sisters had fallen, and was even realizing that he wasn't the "real" Oryx, only a pale facsimile. Everything the old Oryx had ever striven for was laid to waste, by his own hand. In the end, the Taken King realized that there was no longer a place for him in the Hive pantheon, no way to navigate himself and his sisters out of their own heresy. But that's just my two cents.

I am happy that I wasn't the only person that was sad when we had no choice but to end him. I also think the 'splitting' of the character would have been cool too. Especially since one of Destiny's themes is redemption.

It was a good ending and a good episode, but most of us found the ending abrupt and felt like something was missing.

It'd be nice if she had a VOICE. I understand the need to protest against the use of AI borrowing the likeness of her voice, but seriously! Having to read it, or realize it too late that she's talking has been royally a pain. I miss the subtitles sometimes and then miss out on the dialogs.

To be pissing off Savathun was not the right call, if she where to make a deal like keeping the Echo and any harm it would bring to the Sol system, I would have let her have it, as so far she has yet to break a deal she made with us, and the old saying "keep your friends close, your enemies closer"

In all honesty, had Eris' plan actually come to fruition, we might have just been able to give Oryx to Savathun and retain an ally throughout all this. We just needed the Echo under our control, not Oryx himself... still, wished we could've given him a better sendoff.

So, I think you're not wrong that we might see a conclusion between the sisters within the next week. It might not be the most lore friendly of circumstances, but, if I were to wager - We just pissed in Savathun's cereal, in what was a shaky alliance to begin with. We're not exactly her favorite paracausal zombie. With that being said, I'm pretty sure we just broke the final piece of potential safety from Savathun's ire.

She's primed for an alliance with Xivu Arath.

Doing the nether activity post episode story gives some nice voice lines. eg Drifter and Eris saying Drifter tried anything to bring Eris back liek making a wish or Xivu and Savathun talking like Xivu saying "we lost our brother again" and Sav saying "we never had him back in the first place"

"At least the stars will remember the shape I gave them" what line to finish off his legacy!! Oryx has and will always be my favorite destiny villain. But as Evaze said I feel like this was realistically the only way it could have ended. The hive are still enemies of the system and need to be dealt with and he simply couldn't be left alive. His VA simply killed it this season and the writers were phenomenal bringing him back in the manner they did. I'm very pleased with the story and just being part of the experience. Well done Bungie! RIP to the Navigator, the true Taken King...

And why don’t we have Willbreaker? We killed Oryx, TWICE NOW…
We reclaimed the pieces of the sword and reforged Willbreaker… it’s our sword by right…
It’s our sword as we are the taken king by right…

Who says this Echo is the final one, yes there were three we know of, but if you recall the scene where the Echoes spat out from the wound in the Traveler, you would have seen there were many Echo's that sped away from it. I have no doubt there are more echoes for us in the future, maybe.
