One reason why USD are so strong and why USA can live on borrowed money is because USA has been protecting the existing world trade and democracy. If USA would stop doing that, the USD will fail.

As an American, I am ashamed of half of our country who think we should rescind our NATO membership and stop our funding of Ukraine. Absolutely shameful. We are stronger together🇺🇸🇺🇸

50 years ago, the U.K. spent 6% per capita on defense. Today, less than 2% on defense. Time to wakey wakey.

The potential Trump Presidency is far from a done deal. Although many Republican’s are not vocal about how they see Trump in a second term, and the media covers massive support for him; the voters will be the ones to decide his second tour of duty at the Mar o Lago golf course…. 🤫

In 1984 Britain was at 5.5 of GDP spent on the military. It's time to get it back to that level and more. Seriously foreign aid, net zero, Ukrainian financial/hardware support all has to go. We need a period of serious military investment and rebuilding. Too much money sent overseas.

'Get it's [sic] act together'? My word, it's distressing to see how far the once-venerable Times has fallen!

The Senate approved the aid package. It's 8 people in the house. Actually 1 person, Mike Johnson, who is blocking the aid

In 2022, The US Congress approved a lend-lease bill for Ukraine. It created an 18-month window for Ukraine to apply and required the first repayment in 2071 if not forgiven before then. That opportunity expired at the end of September 2023. Ukraine never applied.
