I like how in this adaptation they got the same dubbed voice actors from the anime to also do the English dub for this movie too.

To newbies that don't know about Ryuk's addiction to apples. Apples are to him what cigarettes and alcohol are to us humans. Ryuk even goes through a state of withdrawal without them. Much like a smoker or alcoholic.
