Great vid as always! I have sat around ports fishing and turning in at Sovereign a lot since they added that. I often end runs by using up whatever bait I found during a run. Basically after I've turned in all my loot I eat all my food (for provision milestones), then fire off all my fireworks I have gathered (which is usually a good amount, because I always empty firework crates into my barrels before selling) and in addition to a wonderful display it adds to my cannons fired milestone. Then I grab all the pertinent bait for whatever port I am at (which I often have a lot of because I also empty my bait crates into my barrels before selling them), and fish near the Sovereign and sell what I catch right to them. Most of the time I don't worry about cooking (unless I get a trophy or something special), as I am already max rank Hunter, and have A LOT of gold, so I don't care about maximizing my fish sales, I am just trying to grind out my fish commendations. Fairly often in addition to my "cash out ritual", I will grab my storage crate if I found one (I often don't buy them) and take the supplies that aren't part of my ritual, and leave it on the dock for another crew.

Oddly wholesome with the "Can you buy me a Bait Crate?" Challenge on top of this. Of course, I would expect nothing less from this Fishing Challenge than from the Legendary Fisherman himself 😂

I did something similar to this not too long ago-- I try to avoid selling fish to Sovereigns when I can though, so I didn't consider just selling them at Port Merrick!

Edit: I love how this started as a "fishing without leaving the outpost" challenge, then turned into a test of other pirates' trust and generosity, then finally changed again into a stealth mission to accidentally steal a HUGE payout!

With so many day cycles I would actually just use the storage crate to look for bait in the island barrels
