Did the Ewoks REALLY EAT the Stormtroopers at the end of Star Wars Return of the Jedi?

Cuz it seems like it’s heavily implied that they eat humans when they literally tried to cook Luke, Han and Chewie!

But let’s take a look at a Legends comic book that might give us the answer!

You see, in the comic Apocalypse Endor, it reads that when a group of Stormtroopers who were stationed on Endor opened fire on some Ewoks, the little fuzzy bears became extremely hostile!

Not only did they try and hurt the Stormtroopers but they terrified them with physiological warfare!

They would set deadly traps in the forest, play drums around the base in the middle of the night and the worst part of it all, the Ewoks would sometimes capture unfortunate Stormtroopers and leave their remains displayed for their friends to find in the morning!

It seems pretty clear to me that they ate them but since this comes from legends, let me know what you think the Ewoks did in the comments!

In the canon mini series ‘forces of destiny’ they established that Leia and Han made sure that Ewoks didn’t eat the stormtroopers from the battle.

In lore the reason the Ewoks live in the trees and have all those giant traps set up it’s all to defend themselves against these massive bigfoot like creatures that aren’t seen in the movies. Because of this the Ewoks likely have an omnivorous scavenger diet and eat just about anything they catch
