Did people eat Ewoks?

During the clone wars, Endor was a relatively unknown planet and most would never have heard of the Ewoks. Despite their ingenuity and crafty nature, those who did know about them often considered Ewoks to be a non sentient species. On remote outer rim planets such as Abafar, Ewok Jerky was served in run down diners such as the power sliders. Fortunately for the Ewoks, the rebel alliance would realise they were sentient and it seems likely that this practice was ended.
