“The next time we do an interview.” Those words, those simple words… I felt something strange, the feeling of knowing that we’ll never get another interview.

I like his humbleness, he wouldn’t like to be immortal because he realizes that it’s selfish unless it’s for everybody.

Nothingness forever... I can't wrap my head around that either.

it’s crazy that both of them know what’s there now

In just 2 minutes and 6 seconds these two legends pretty much explained the overwhelming fear of death, immortality, beliefs and so much more, I’m like Stan I don’t fear death but I cannot grasp the idea of nothingness lasting forever it just feels terrifying, to not be forever, I can see how that thought haunted Larry as well (when does forever end?) I hope they have both found peace wherever they are, they led incredible lives individually and it would be nice to think they’re still out there even though Stan didn’t believe in anything after death.

"Nothingness exist forever" What stan said is true because before we were born, its just nothingness. For millions of years even before the universe existed it was nothingness but at the same time, it feels like a snap of a finger and we were born into this world. Maybe thats how death will be like...so does that mean the theory about reincarnation is true? Well, we dont know and when we do die, we wont have to worry, feel, think etc about it, we will be at peace hence the saying "rest in peace". But hey, while we are alive...why not use it the best way we possibly can and spread kindness and love 😊

Duality of man here wow. Stan Lee was such a free spirit. The man truly didn't fear death. Meanwhile, it's easy to see it terrifies Larry. I hope when I reach the age my mindset will be closer to stans. Because right now, I'm leaning alot closer to larry.

you know, I think we’re all scared. And the truth is, none of us know what lies beyond. But one thing’s for sure: you’re not alone, and we go through it together 🙏

What a beautiful way to interpret death. It’s not the process itself we fear, but the finality it represents is what’s so hard to grasp. Rest In Peace both Stan Lee and Larry King, two legends in their own rights🖤.

They both explained the fear of death so well. It's not so much the dying part that's scary, it's the finality of it. The fact that you will never not be dead ever again. It's a haunting thought. Rest in peace to both of these two.

"I can't imagine nothingness lasting forever."

-Stan Lee

I'm ok with nothingness forever. It calms me and makes me less anxious and 0% worried about after death. 😊 :)

forever sucks when you exist, forever sucks if ur at work, waiting to get something to eat, waiting for an answer. If you don’t exist forever is peace

Stan Lee's point about not wanting to be immortal because you'd see people around you die is very apparent in Wolverine, especially in the Logan movie

Even if we go to nothingness, we're all going there together.

Edit: I can understand how this can be seen as religious, but it's not. If we die, we'll all be dead together

It’s overwhelming to think about that.

I find it fascinating that a man with such life and imagination thought there was absolutely nothing after death.
