Weird. I just watched a Netflix documentary about how science proves dogs actually DO love us. When humans hug them, their oxytocin levels go up as much, if not more, as when they're offered a hotdog sausage.

I have nine they adore me they follow me everywhere I am the center of their universe. They cuddle with me they sleep with me they run to meet me when I come home. They look in my eyes they are reassured by me and I reassure them when they have trouble. I love them I am happy whatever it is they feel for me is good.

Anytime im hurt(including basic period pains) my chihuahua alsways wants to snuggle and kiss me and stays by my side nonstop, thats true love, esp since im grouchy and she will still get all up in my biz for affection and snuggs. We are lucky to have dogs and tbh dont deserve them

No way I don’t believe that. You just have to own a dog for a few years to know that they have affection for their humans and they definitely notice if one of them passes away. Our dog was depressed and misbehaved when my mom died. That’s all the proof I need. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Exactly what are the details please elaborate? It’s scientific thought it’s not a theory so where did they get this idea from? Dogs can suffer from separation anxiety I’ve Seen it with our neighbors dog. He went out of town and she stayed with his friends for a few days. Note: a few days! She got out and tried to make he way ALL the way back to his house for shits sake it was so sad he doesn’t do that anymore that’s for sure. So they do love.

Dogs don't need to try to be aligned with "love", if love is treated as an active noun, so no and yes.
