I love your channel! Thank you. I suffer from RA, sciatica, old injuries 😔 and poor posture, naturally lol I've driven trucks and ridden/ trained horses most of my life I'm 47 now and I Hurt the Time! Low back, knees, ankles, feet, shoulders, wrists, hands etc.. so thank you for your short videos that are super helpful!!

All 3 of these are utilized in yoga! And it's NOT a coincidence all 3 of these have helped my back immensely!!!! Especially that second last one with the knees bent & leaning over side to side while on your back

These are the exact same exercises that my Physical Therapist recommended for my lower back pain years ago. They really help if you actually take the time to do them. 😉

Cat cow is a lovely exercise for back pain, so is child's pose a nice one, you might like it Brad. Even nicer if you do it with two or three pillows below your torso, it feels so good to just let go for a few minutes xx

Can you do these exercises when you have a herniated disc to L4 & L5?

I would try anything for some relief. I've had back surgery because of spinal stenosis, L4/L5 disc replacement, and a cage. Still need injections. I do the knee to chest stretch. I just have chronic pain. Was told I have facet osteoarthritis in L2/L3. I also have minor curvature.

Careful with the planks and quadruped exercises they’re very easy to do wrong if you don’t have a strong core. If your core is weak you’ll see the low back curve and even a subtle dip shows that you have reached failure and you need to rest and repeat

The first exercise shown, the backwards extension, is one I've done instinctively for many years, ever since I developed back problems. However, I can't lie on my stomach to do it with proper form as shown here. Is there an alternate method? I just stand there and bend backwards, but that makes me a little bit dizzy and brings its own pain.
