12:00 TB: "They could've made the level design simpler but the gameplay harder."

At first this didn't make any sense to me, but now I can see it. I think it requires a much more complex game, though. I'm picturing something like a 2D Sonic game bring played by an intermediate-level player. They barely passed the later levels, so you only need to recreate simple feats. However, they've mastered Green Hill Zone, so you've got to recreate a perfect run there.
