Why aren't JavaScript devs testing? (and how do we fix that)

What holds back a developer from writing tests? Is it time? Is it laziness? I took a look at the data to find the potential answer, and learn that the questions I'm asking aren't right.

Instead of asking "why aren't we testing?", we should instead find out "why isn't testing valued?" Only then can we truly improve our testing practices
