thank you for putting this content out their doctor Huberman. I had smoked pot for years and never had any severe anxiety other than a little bit due to quite elevated heart rate. then one day out of the blue driving home from work smoking a j, all of a sudden, I had this unbelievable panic attack that I've never experienced in my life. It was scary as all hell. I hit a liquor store in a mad panic and on the way back to the car I couldn't get the bottle opened up quick enough to start guzzling the beer. it still didn't put much of a dent in the horrific panic attack. I hope people that have never smoked see this content, and if they decide to smoke, start with a joint and take a hit or two and wait a while to see how they feel. I couldn't imagine someone jumping right into dabs! wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone!

I personally reach flow state often in competitive video games when I smoke sativa. Not to mention I have adhd and don't medicate(I smoke recreationally) so it really helps

I was a pot head for years until I had bouts of paranoia and panic during it. Had to quit.

If you start to get paranoid, you need to stop smoking immediately and go see a doctor to get you on some oxygen therapy or something. Bro you need a lot of rest and sleep because if you smoke weed and get paranoid, that means your brain is struggling with the "human body processing and managing the THC even tho you are tired and can't keep going on with this restless lifestyle of always being high"

The effects of cannabis are largely determined by the tolerance of the user and the cannabinoid/terpene content of the flower.

Most flower is hybridized and Sativa/Indica varieties only differ in genetics and how they grow.

Indica should be smoked instead, for those who experience that intense anxiety (yet want to continue smoking in general)

The effects of cannabis are different for everyone. When I smoke, I feel chilled out but focused, determined, energetic, and happy. I smoke before my morning workout it helps me to better my mind muscle connection. I concentrate better workout harder and longer it also helps with my moods
