Something tells me people who own NFTs have foot pictures in their gallery 😂💯

I think NFT’s were going to be used like art work, to help launder money, but people actually thought they were worth something and chaos ensued. Reminds me of the story where (I think it was) roses were going for the equivalent to thousands of dollars for a very short time, I’m the 18th century.

Apparently Jow has never heard of money laundering

They’re literally called Non Fungible so that should give you a hint that their worth is completely up to what someone is willing to pay but not what everyone is willing to pay

What’s that old saying…ah yes…a fool and their money are soon parted.

There's an NFT art gallery here in Las Vegas. I'm not sure how it works. I haven't been in there yet, if I ever go in.

It's a slap in the face to a real artist that can paint, sculpt, draw, et cetera

Its crazy that people who have never played video games still dont understand the value in ownership. Games were ahead of this for years and years

The way these NFT versions was implemented, was silly and pointless.

The future of NFTs will be to show OWNERSHIP, of digital goods. You want to own your Steam game, or Ubisoft game despite it being removed from the digital stores? The NFT will prove your ownership, so you can continue playing it. Every kindle book you have can be taken away in a heartbeat. Amazon has already done this due to a copyright issue. For example, an author selling the ebook 1984 was deemed to NOT have copyright ownership, so Amazon just nuked it from everyones kindle. Despite them paying money for it. An NFT here, would prove your ownership in perpetuity. Currently, you only pay amazon for a LICENSE to use the book. You're not 'buying' the book. And licenses can be revoked. It's all in the EULA we all agree to. NFTs do have a future, but not this stupid jpeg garbage. NFTs will be the ONLY way to prove digital ownership.

Legislation hasn't caught up to these companies yet.

Those were a few grand before the bubble and had access to the digital swamp room. That was a way to pseudo anonymously interact with any of the other owners.

Would be worth something if they could monetize the link to the nft, collecting revenue every time it’s used? Or something like that

I know at least ten people who made over 10 millions of selling then. It was a scam done by that guy who does garage sales.

If you own the image, you can use it for marketing, Tee Shirts, Movies, art, commercials, etc.
If you screens it, you can't use it for anything. Just like a pro team logo or trademark.
Still not worth spending money
Yet!!

Whats worse is the ease at which the government and corporations have parted you from your money, use the app tap it don't have any money on you at all its digital, so when you're all forced to own a EV and the charging over rides the grid and you cant eat was that the governments fault or yours for allowing it.
