“Finally got a job” is so right! I remember Robby Benson as the teen heartthrob from _One on One, _ waaaay back in 1977. He made a huge splash during that period, and then seemed more or less to disappear. I goggled and did a big double take when I saw his name reappearing in the voice credits for _Beauty and the Beast._ And until then, I also didn’t know about his astounding health history and his battles with heart health. Proof positive that perseverance does pay off - in every arena!!!

I’ve loved Robby since the 70s! He really is a very, very good actor and it makes me sad that he’s SOOO under employed. I think he’s every bit as good as ANYBODY popular today….anybody!! I wish he’d be offered more roles that are truly worthy of his abilities.

1975 "Lucy Lady" was the first time I saw Robby Benson. A friend and I saw that movie several times in the theater (pre-VHS) as she had a crush on Robby. Enjoyed the movie.
