I put the Method MR703 Bead Grip wheels on my GX 550 Overtrail with Toyo Open Country AT III 35" tires. I'll never go back to standard wheels. They are lighter than bead lock, legal everywhere and perfect for everything but the toughest competition off-roading. I love them.

Love my Methods. I've gone down to 6 in the snow and 8 in the sand with them!

Great video Nate, ive been rocking my beadgrips for a year and a bit now, and I'm honestly impressed.
They have out shined normal wheels at even 10psi.

This is by far the best Method Bead Grip info out here. Awesome man, and thank you!

I am so, so, so happy I bought mine. I have no problems at 7lbs, and have gone lower accidentally and it seems ok. Skeert to go further...

I wish you had made this video 6 months ago when I was shopping for new tires. I ended up sticking with the 15x8 steel rock crawler wheels and put 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MTs on my '89 Ramcharger. Now, after watching this video, I'm certain that 17x9 BeadGrips will be installed the next time I change tires. Thank you for putting together such a complete video from a non-sales point of view.

Don't forget Hutchinson rockmonster. Those are true outer/inner beadlocks. And have the DOT stamp of approval.

Hey, I love that you don't take manufacturers by their word and actually try and figure out what is going on. Super cool and I wish more people did that. I believe it would be super interesting if you compared this to the new Konig Hyper Trail wheels as it appears they stoll a bit of Method's homework and are offering them at a considerably lower price.

I have method bead grips on my Polaris Rzr. They hold on great. Had one tire get a massive sidewall puncture about 20 miles from the trailer and had to drive on a completely flat tire. Rim was fine and still had to fight to get the tire off the rim. Now, 3 of the 4 have and pretty good rock rash along the outside rim edge and i have had to use some bead sealant to stop air leaks. Don't necessarily thing it is an issue with rims as i have abused the rims and my buddy's tire machine can be a little rough on the beads of the tires. Still going to get them on my jeep.

I got the same exact set you have on your tundra brother, love them, great review. The guys at the local tire shop hate me😂. I hope and pray that they hook you up after all of your hard work and great review

Love my method bead grips. I think mine are 703's. Running KO2 tires and will go with KO3's when time to replace.

I have the 703 beadgrips, and love them. I sheard off a valve stem a few weeks ago during a charity off-road run and two people looked at the flat tire and just declared to the rest of the group that I had de-beaded a tire. Haad to have been debeaded. No way a non-beadlock would still be on the rim.
Got the tire swapped out with my spare and moved to a safe spot to work on the flat and another guy comes over and starts stomping on the sidewall. I tell him that's not going to work. "I do this all the time at work. If this isn't a beadlock it'll come off". So I let him wear himself out then I used a high lift to break the bead.

The only thing I don't like about them is the valve stem placement. I don't know a lot about wheel construction but moving the valve away from the lip and angling it more perpendicular to the rim might have made a difference in my situation.
