Ever since my dog was a baby, I took the habit of sometimes hugging her when she is sitting. Soon enough, she took the habit of leaning back against me when I do so, whether it's to rest her head on my shoulder, on my head, or against my torso.

It seems that she completely understood my gesture, and answered with one of her own 🥰

You just made my day by telling me dog leaning is a hug. My best friend was given a VERY reactive and fearful dog because Sky was abused and neglected before she came to my best friend. In the year she had Sky, she has done MIRACLES. 1 if them is for Sky to accept me into the pack. I have been a proud fur aunt since i met her a year ago, but the feelings weren't returned at first. But... last time i visited, she leaned on me and lied on my feet. It made me SO happy. Sky is such a friendly dog by nature. Her previous humans betrayed her fragile trust. My best friend spent the past year getting her to trust people again. 😍😍😍😍😍
Also, Daisy is a national treasure who need to be protected at all costs. Little Maple caught my attention but Daisy melts my heart. She is love itself. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Although I've never gotten him tested (not even sure you can do that), i think my sweet boy has separation anxiety. he gets very antsy when we are getting ready to leave the house. But he also leans on me every second he can, so i know he loves me. And i love you too dexter! ❤

Another reason dogs roll in the grass is because if they smell a strange scent they roll around in it to get the scent on them to bring to you because they think it might be a threat
