why is it so hard for these "smart" folks to realize that yield curve inversion simply means the market is pricing in lower rates in the future. that does NOT necessarily mean a recession. TYPICALLY a recession is correlated with easing cycles, but this is not a typical cycle. rates will go lower when inflation goes lower, and that's happening without a recession SO FAR.
