"Grist" is malted barley after roasting, ready to be used in the fermentation process, for example in whisky distilling.

For me it has to be roasted over peat. The flavour that peat smoke adds to the malt is something special.

Milled grist flour is used in the baking of malted bread and here in Scotland distilleries like Laphroaig add it to oat cakes, which take on the flavour of their whisky. Delicious with a strong cheddar or French brie cheese!

The only thing I find ironic about a car like this is spending over $500, 000 just to end up next to me and my $80, 000 Lyriq waiting for an EVgo charger in the backyard of a TARGET 🎯 parking lot.

Hey, I've been to that mill! It's a cool little volunteer outfit. I wish you could have gone inside. They make flour and cornmeal there, and you can buy the finished product (after watching the whole production process).

I understand that Rolls-Royce are handmade and they have manufacturing processes which ultimately cost more, but I honestly see no difference between a Rolls-Royce Spectre and my Cadillac LYRIQ. In fact, my Cadillac gets better range.

Ultimately: electric vehicle manufacturers need to focus on reducing weight.
