1 How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I take counsel in my soul
and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

3 Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,

Writing daily psalm songs became my coping mechanism after leaving New York in the midst of the pandemic, and Psalm 13 was a stand out favorite. I took the initial Verse & Chorus and worked them into a full length song, which became HOW LONG (Psalm 13).

I love the honesty of this psalm.
The lament.
The longing.
The ultimate hope & trust placed on God's faithfulness.
