Thanks very much DJ Gill. Your video is very informative. I want to host a karaoke party but didn't know how. So to make sure that I understand, each indiviual person has to do what you just described in the video. Prior to seeing your video I was thinking that it could be done through a central person controlling the video like in an "in person" karaoke party. I see now, that that is not the case. Obviously this is new to me. Don't laugh! 🤨🤣🤔 And thanks again.

Hi, I am preparing for my big debue as a KJ. If I am using a tool like Watch2Gether, will it be in better sync for me to be the only sharer? I was trying to also understand what the other partcipants will see, the words to the song or the performer? Thanks for making this tutorial and for your assistance. Or is it your suggestion that everyone shares their own screen and we all just stay muted and watch their screen?

Hey! This is a great video, thank you! So question: If I want to 'host' a virtual karaoke party, am I pulling up the videos for the other participants? Will it be synced? Or would each participant have to share their own screen with the videos they've pulled up themselves? THANK YOU! Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but I'm trying this for the first time, haha.

We tested this and it doesn't actually work as well as it did in this video. The audio in this video was directly recorded and not what comes through Zoom so it's misleading. Through Zoom, the shared audio from Youtube takes over and the mic audio gets reduced and muffled.
