Appreciate the quick shout out. (hope i was the Steve you were referring to? Haha). Enjoyed the nice bike ride you took by the beach. I can't wait to experience it this weekend! Minus the bad drivers. Lol. Talk soon.

The problem with bicycling on city streets is that you are at a higher risk of serious injury up against a motorbike. Typical accident is getting sideswiped and with a foot well motorbike your legs won't get crushed and your bike won't get thrown far on impact. Minor injuries are inevitable on a bicycle. For better health and safety also consider getting an air purifier for your apartment. It will Eliminate the huge 2.5 particle problem in Vietnam.

I lived in Danang for 3 months and loved it there, then I did a visa run to Thailand and Covid hit and didn't get back. I used to walk 5 minutes to the beach everyday.

Loving your videos. Hopefully you can stay for awhile in DaNang. Spot on about the EBike. Mine is sort of Vespa looking EScooter.. Had to get a dryer here also as it takes forever to dry clothes and I'm an impatient American with a teenager.

The driving here in Da Nang is crazy...there's no way we would ever try renting a bike or a scooter. One of the things that we didn't think of, being here during Tet, is that so many restaurants are closed. We were hoping for better weather too, but so far no luck lol.

Traveled from HCMC to Hanoi on Motorbike in 2018 and been trying to figure out how to live there ever since.... Plan is to move to Da Nang this year and buy a couple of businesses. Your videos have been very helpful in me looking into different options in Da Nang so thanks for your work and I hope you continue to put out the great videos this year. Cheers from Glasgow!

We loved this video for the simple fact that you are riding around where we will be staying for a month :-) Jan 14th we arrive soon and are very excited. The ebike is a great idea we need to look into that. The fact is that we haven’t seen a sidewalk in a long time coming from Thailand.

I witnessed at least two serious accidents In the two years living in Hue and I see no accidents in rhe five years living in Saigon. People tend to drive carelessly and fast in smaller cities

Can you do a brief video about ebiking in Da Nang? Where to buy and/or rent, size, brand, repair, storage, Roadside assistance, helmet, lock, etc.

Year End Party (tiệc tất niên) is a big part of Vietnamese culture. Every single family has that party on the last days of the lunar year. Companies then take it as a chance to bring people together. Friends and relatives who drift apart from each other also take it as a good reason to meet up. That's why a Vietnamese can have a series of year end parties each year., with family, will friends, with company, with relatives :))) And that's exactly the reason we gain weight every new year :))) Life is all about gaining weight and loseing weights haha. I didn't like that before but now I find it an interesting culture in Vietnam that Western countries dont have
