Jon & Sansa | I can't pretend

After 5 months I come back with 2 videos in 3 days, best not get used to it XD

This was yet another project I friged before my hiatus, and back then it was replaced by my 'The Northern Fool' one which is why the coloring is the same and also they share some bits in common. It's a similar approach, I have some theories™ on how things may go down in the last season of Game of Thrones and I think my videos speak for themselves.

As unpopular as this theory is with the general audience I DO firmly believe there's a chance for Jon and Sansa to end up together. I'm actually quite invested in them by now and one of the main reasons is because they're part of something much bigger than just themselves. More than just cause I think they have chemistry together, they fit on my story-wide endgame picture, politics and character fullfilment included, and for all it means, I'd love for at least a fraction of it to become true.

I started several videos of these two and got quite far with all of them, but then I always decided they weren't good enough and just left the project on the unfinished corner so I could move on to something else. I managed to finish this after a while and I still think its not that good (nothing is ever good enough to do them justice in my head, maybe that's it haha) but I decided to share anyways.

As always, be kind about it, if you will. I understand the backlash and the frowns when it comes to these two but honestly considering the show we're talking about and the recent events...is it really worth it? I do welcome polite discussions though.

And the ending, where Sansa says "No, but I do", and you cut it off here, before her clarification, and the look on Jon's face!! Awesome :)
This video is made of little gems and very "my way of thinking" about them. And as always, great parallells, editing, song choice, voice over, tempo.

That ending...is simply perfection. It's like after all your brilliant cinematic parallels and voiceovers and everything, every one of us viewers is looking at the pairing just like Jon is looking at Sansa in that scene, realizing that it all makes perfect sense. You and your scene selection -- I honestly will never understand how you can be unhappy with any of your projects, they're all precious lessons in the power of well-used cinematics to me!

Personally I enjoy both Jonsa and Jonerys (I think they both make a great deal of sense when you look at overarching plotlines), but if there's any reason why I'd really want the first to end up canon is just to see the sheer beauty of your headcanons coming true <3

You have chosen every moment of Jon and Sansa in a masterful way. It's amazing how after each of your videos you do not stop surprising me. I also want to see the two together, after what they have gone through, what they have suffered, what they have experienced. They barely knew each other or saw each other when everything began, even before, but now they can both get to know each other better. As Catelyn told Robb, his marriage to Ned grew stronger over the years, although they barely knew each other. And everything said by those around them: their father, Petyr Baelish, Sam ... they all suggest the same thing. And in books it is likely to occur. Anyway, thank you and keep going.

God, I love this song. And this video just makes my heart swell. I love your pacing and parallels and tone and audio and everything in between. Your style always has such a touch of sophistication to it. It's on a completely different level. You have a way of capturing themes and moments that would be otherwise overlooked and missed. The little moment about how Sansa would one day be queen to sit by her husband's side on the iron throne. I love that you bring back so many pieces from previous seasons and so effortlessly weave them into the more current episodes. It's really breathtaking what you do. I'm in awe.
