We were led to believe he was immortus but ant man and the wasp released a variant with an unmistakable likeness to immortus so it’s even cooler cause he who remains is now a totally unique character specific to the MCU

they didn't find him he let them find him because he was bored. he knows all and see all. acording to me all he did goes acording to his plans. he told sylvi how she will kill him even before when he was explaining how it will go "you plant your dag in my chest and ...". and says the same word he said before in the room of the time keeper when sylvie kill him"see you soon". He play them all along. same for the kang in ant man he say the same thing, i know it all and see it all, i know how all of this is going to go and play them all along making them think they have won and he is dead

that is not immortus! he is "He who remains" a kang variant yes but not immortus, immortus got shown in the new antman movie.. the one with broken raspy voice.

Wait but we see Immortus in the end game credit scene of Antman and the wasp with the council was Kangs plotting to destroy the avengers my theory is that the Kang sealed in the Quantum realm is actually the he who remains Kang he’s a good guy trying to destroy his alternate selves that’s why the other Kangs sealed him and once he’s out he will form the TVA and the loop with continue

Did you know...based on the fact that He Who Remains was eating a Green Apple that Not only might Kang have encountered and beaten a variant of Thor but ALSO Doctor Strange....also based on seeing Viktor Timely in the Loki Series season 2 that Miss Minutes might have been Viktor Timely's Court Clerk or Secretary and it is actually Revona Renslayer whose memory is wiped, and the Miss Minutes cartoon clock might be a Construct who has the recorded minutea of time itself like in an actual court and the key to defeating Kang might be to read those minutes back to the very minute Kang became Kang.
