Показать описание
The information gathered by nurses in a pulse rate check helps us to identify the patient is hypovolemic, in a shock-like state, or fluid overloaded. The measurements of rate, rhythm and grading all help to communicate our findings in a standardized way.

This video is about How to Take a Pulse. This video goes over 8 pulse points from carotid, brachial, radial, ulnar, femoral, popliteal, dorsal tibialis and posterior tibial pulses. Elements of the assessment covered are rhythm, rate, and quality (pulse grading scale)

Understanding what a normal waveform looks like will help you to troubleshoot abnormal waveforms.

Tips for locating the most common pulses also provided!

I still cant feel my pulse. I'm worried because I have a test on Monday about this. I was only able to feel my sister's pulse after she came back from dancing. But I'm trying my pulse but I feel nothing at all.
