I was surprised I didn't see the viral video of the hermit crab on the beach using a dolls head for a shell. A good friend of mine Joseph Cronk filmed that during trash cleanup on Wake island. So many people have now used it and some profiting off of it that he is now in talks with a copyright lawyer over it.

Maybe they exchange stat points for advanced skills? Like instead of growing bigger and stronger, they get venom or tool use.

Like humans and chimps. Chimps went more into base stats and as now specking into exchanging points for basic tool use, where as humans exchanged their points long ago and are now super advanced in the tool use ability but can’t beat a chimp in power or arboreal mobility.
