I had to replace 6 of them this last winter due to water intrusion. The worst part is there is no seal on the new bib cover that would have been a good thing to see on the updated part. This is also affecting the gas ones not just the diesel’s

Took my 2020 in for an oil change and it rained on the way to the dealer, it wouldn't shut off in the dealers driveway! They replaced the module and it's worked fine every since. Pretty funny, I had shut the truck off and was walking away from it before I realized it was still running.

Yes. 2020 F-550 about 6 months ago. Engine wouldn’t shut off and horn beeping.

We had to replace one a few weeks back on a 2021. It was a no start no pcm communication. I took it apart and it definitely had water intrusion and corrosion.

I have had this problem 2x first was a no start, second time it didn't shut off both times was moisture in bjb

I've had about 4 trucks that the wipers didn't work on and it was the bjb every time

ABS C0020 check to make sure they use the right ground bolt. I work at the Explorer plant we get them all the time wrong bolt coating pump motor ground

Having trouble as in they are not on from the factory, or people servicing them leave them off?

Defiantly not because it was put on wrong, just a poorly manufactured part. Mine has never been opened and it has the horn problem. There is not a rubber seal in-between the lid and the box. Not sure which ID10T designed this, but this is what you get with a Ford in this day and age. Thanks for pointing out the TSB, my Ford dealer says there is nothing on my VIN about this, Imagine my Suprise.... Not!🙄

I have a 2022 F350 super duty that all if a sudden wouldn't start. I looked at the BJB and noticed that the fuses had moisture in them. BJB cover was on securely but water found a way in some how. Is there a way to dry this until out and have that fix the issue or does the BJB need to be replaced?

My 6 weeks old 2022 has had electrical 'gremlins' where the cameras and the automatic steps stopped working, the SYNC 4 system wouldn't shut off and none of the functions on the head unit worked. After failing to find 'the issue', the dealer disconnected the batteries to 'reset' everything and all went back to 'normal'. In my view that is not a 'fix', so just watching for the issue to repeat...

Sounds like it’s more of a “put things back where they belong” problem. I have replaced this same thing on Nissan, Chrysler and Ford before but normally it’s with higher mileage vehicles. My 2020 is fine but don’t drive her in all that road salt.
