As someone who grew up in Battersea, I applaud you for letting people know that Clapham Junction is NOT in Clapham!! 👏👏👏

The common theme in this series: “junction” stations that aren’t in the town they’re named after.

Clapham North and Common remind me of the Glasgow Subway, which is routinely navigated by people under the influence.

A good video my friend! And a nice theme - scope for more perhaps? You truly are the new Geoff Marshall! I actually set foot in Clapham for the first time ever in June. Visited the wonderful Studio Voltaire. I was surprised how close Claphams Common and North stations were. BTW - you should increase the value of your top tier Patreon membership: I'd gladly buy you a cheeky meal deal each month.... 😃

Lovely video, I really enjoyed it. I went to school in Clapham South, tube from Elephant and Castle every day. That was 60 years ago (I know, I can't believe it either). There were no other tubes, no Overground, just a weird network of lines and stations. Seeing Denmark Hill and Loughborough Junction brings back distant, teenage memories. Keep up the good work

Surely... Clapham High Street - Clapham Junction - Vaux... Water... oh yeah... hold on.. Got it! Waterloo NR/Waterloo and City Line (no barriers) - Bank - London Bridge - Clapham North/Common/South

Many places in London have more than one station. If you do another video like this you could do
Wimbledon next it has four stations. Wimbledon/Wimbledon Park/Wimbledon Chase/South Wimbledon.

Unusual and different video..
Geoff M will probably know the explanation for the thin platforms dangerous when very busy..

Those platforms at Clapham North are really thin, I'm quite tall, I wonder if I were to lie down, would my head and feet touch both sides of the platform?

Hi. Non Londoner here. So tap in at Junction to tap out at South, what was trip cost on your Oyster? Cheers.

Absolutely bing bonged ?? That’s a new one for me… couldn’t you have just walked from Clapham high street down the road and covered all the over stations and cut down the journey times?
