Every Tube Station: 041 - 054 (The Map Challenge)

Episode 4 - Frozen In Clapham: This week we're playing Northern Line v Victoria Line up through Clapham and towards the city.

I'm embarking on The Map Challenge (Not to be confused with The Tube Challenge or #WalkTheTube). It's my target to visit and get off at each of the 270 tube stations.

Interesting fact about Vauxhall station; legend has it, that it is the origin of the Russian word for station, which is 'вокзал' (vokzal), after a Russian engineer visited the station; and after asking what it was, he was simply given the answer, "It's Vauxhall".

A cool thing that could be done at Oval would be to have a cool Oval Roundel instead of a circular one seen at all the current stations

Interesting thought, the Guinness World Records are set for people who've traveled the underground in the shortest time. Is it possible that you might be setting the record for the most stations visited (in accordance with the tube challenge) with in a given year in the shortest time possible. You've been making good progress. Our underground in Toronto is a barely 60 years old. No where near the significant amount of history as LUs. We have two abandoned stations - that's about it....
